SintimSpeaks#17….”You reap what you sow”

“You reap what you sow” means that there is an effect for everything people do or say so be careful how you treat or speak on people you come across in life, the effort you put into anything you do will be rewarded appropriately in this life or the next. I often use this phrase as a reminder to myself to keep being kind ,work hard and stay humble. Although the phrase in mainly used in Christianity, you will also hear it in other places. I guess what I’m saying is the general idea behind “you reap what you sow” is that actions will have consequences and the effects of a person’s behaviour are not necessarily apparent right away, that is why some of our repercussions of our choices we make in life come later and when not expected.

let me tell you it’s never ever too late to be kind; you can decide to start a journey of kindness from today going forward. It’s not easy in fact nothing in life is easy but it’s how you handle yourself. Me personally what makes it especially hard is when the same people you are trying to be kind to are the same ones that will go and tell people you are like the devil’s twin; but be kind to them anyway…. a time will come when they will remember your deeds and regret their actions. So as my late grandmother would say to me “Let every day of your life be an opportunity for you to sow kindness wherever you go; you never know who you might be helping, or more importantly, what your act of kindness is paying for in advance”

You will not always hear the words “You reap what you sow” there are loads of other ways it is worded here’s my Top 5 ways listed below:

  1. Everything that you do has repercussions. It comes back to you one way or another.
  2. You cannot escape the consequences of your actions. What you do comes back to you.
  3.  You will see the long-term effects of your actions.
  4. What goes around comes around.

5.Don’t ever be fooled into thinking that your actions don’t have consequences

I really hope you take something from this and teach others because sometimes people will try anything to get you down don’t rise to it, it’s not worth it at all just be kind because the split decision to go something worse back  that could impact on your precious future thanks for reading guys.

Have a great week guys !!

Bible Quotations for this week

Galatians 6:7-9

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

2 Corinthians 9:6

6Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

Job 4:8-9

8As I have observed, those who plow evil and those who sow trouble reap it. 9At the breath of God they perish; at the blast of his anger they are no more.
